This month my friend the Cocktail Professor got a 8 page article in famous dutch magazine HP/DE TIJD and I always love to do some cocktail photography! I’m very happy how it came out. Scroll down for his recipe: ‘Smooth Hoperator’.
Half an apple cut into cubes, 30ml fresh lime juice, 30ml apple juice, 45ml gin (e.g. Sip Smith), 60ml beer, 2 dashes of Angostura bitter.
Cut the apple in bite sized pieces and add them to the shaker. Add all the other ingredients except the beer and fill the shaker with ice. Shake till everything is cold. Pour the cocktail into a cocktail longdrink with new ice cubes. Finish it of with the beer. Add a slice of apple as a garnish. Finish it of with a little rasp of nutmeg. That’s it!
