Top 10 list, best food photographers of 2015!

Here’s to another year of collecting, watching and getting inspired by food photographers from all over the world,  distilled to this very subjective list of personal favourites.

I’m always on the lookout for new talent or trends. I just love food (photography)! So many things come to play and so often it’s a thin threat we walk upon from just right to plain wrong.

And if you ask me what it is that make these photographers stand out from the rest I can’t give you a single answer. Maybe I’m in love with the abstraction of a photo, sometimes I’m amazed how a photographer was able to pull so many element together to get a shot. Sometimes it’s the light or it just looks very, very tasteful!

So here goes, in alphabetical order:

Andrew Scrivani – King of drips, NY Times.

Bobby Doherty – Bare bulb, graphical and humorous style.

Christopher Testani – Constistant, great styling, very good all-rounder.

David Griffen – Winner Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2015.

Greg Dupree – Commercial perfection with soul.

Marcus Nillson (instagram following 43.000 and counting) –  Master of chaos, messy and delicious.

Per Anders Jorgenson – Winner Food Photo Award 2015 (eating with the chefs) ánd Food Feature Award 2015. Intimate, ’nordic style’. Fool magazine, just amazing.

Plamen Petkov

Roger Stowell – Englishman living in France, big in stock.

Vanessa Reese
