A Swiss Army Knife for Ideas

Lately I’ve been incredibly inspired by the bestseller book ‘Making Ideas Happen‘ by Scott Belsky. He’s the man behind portfolio service Behance and 99U; Behance’s think tank and annual conference devoted to execution in the creative world.

I think everybody in the creative industry could benefit from reading this book that is like a Swiss Army knife for idea’s. For me is was very refreshing to be shown the action method, a way how to store and priortise my idea’s in order to focus on the things that matter to me the most. And then there’s the ‘done wall’, how to avoid security work, capitalising on feedback, circle of peers, etc, etc…

Did you read this book? What was your best lesson learned? I’d love to hear about it.

Watch this funny and brilliant talk by Christoph Niemann at the 99u conference last year. You can find much more talks and inspirational content at 99u.
